Whittlesford, South Cambridgeshire

This hotel development is located on a site with a rich history dating back to the 13th Century and sits beside the historic oak framed Red Lion Hotel and Duxford Chapel.

There are close links with the RAF at nearby Duxford, which played an important part in aviation history during both world wars and ex-servicemen regularly meet at the site to reminisce.

Inspiration has been drawn from both these themes which reflect the rich timber interiors of the Red Lion Hotel and uses fabric and colour reflecting the Royal Airforce Uniform. Artwork also reinforces the aviation theme including digital wallpaper showing blueprints of original war planes.
